    Videos of Gourmet’s performance at Jazz au Chellah festival in Rabat, Morocco have been uploaded to YouTube. Right now there are two videos: “Ludvig XIV”, a concert piece for many years but so far never officially released, and a medley of “Liechtenstein” and “Moorgeist und Marschmusik” with a new untitled piece performed with the Marrakesh group Bnet Houariyat.

  3. Heading to Morocco

    Gourmet is going to make its debut outside the European soil on September 15, 2013 when it’ll perform at the Jazz au Chellah festival in Morocco together with Bnet Houariyat Quintet. Visit Jazz au Chellah website for more information.

  4. Emma nomination

    December 10, 2012

    Gourmet’s Cosmopolitan Sideshow has been nominated for the Jazz Album Emma award! The winner will be announced in the Emma-gaala on March 1st, 2013.

    The CD is available from various retailers in Finland (distributed by Töölön Musiikkitukku) and CD Baby. Downloads are available from CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon etc.

  5. New and old videos

    A set of new and old Gourmet videos have been uploaded to YouTube! The newer batch features pieces such as “Sugar Hill Serenade” and “St. Nicholas Strut” from a December 2011 gig at Bimhuis in Amsterdam:

    Another batch of older videos – “I Shot Liberty Valance”, “Flesh and Some Bone & Life in Dead Man’s Valley”, “Fanfarria/La Balada de Camarillo Kid/Camaradas!” and “Epilogo” – are from the “Six Acres of Broken Hearts” tour of 2005 and filmed with two cameras.

    EDIT June 2018: The 2005 videos mentioned above have been removed due to some technical issues with YouTube.

  6. Jazz sous les pommiers

    Gourmet is heading to Coutances, France to play at the 31st Jazz sous les pommiers festival on May 18th. This will be the fourth time the band plays on the French soil, after previous successful festival performances at St. Nazaire (2010), Le Mans (2008) and Nantes (2006).
